Pasai apa saya hadir meeting 27 Mac 2016 nanti...

- GST diperkenalkan
- biasiswa dihentikan
- pinjaman PTPTN dikurangkan hingga anak-anak orang susah kesempitan hidup
- subsidi minyak dihapuskan sama sekali

Ana anti-Umno tapi sayang Presiden Umno...

- Rafizi Ramli,MP Pandan
Muhyiddin digantung jawatan, so what he still the enemy...

Do I care?

Did it kept me awake last night?

Did I choke on my lunch or dinner tonight?

Hell no! This was the same Muhyiddin who did Mahathir's bidding to Anwar Ibrahin and is now on the recieving of the same thing...this time from Najib.

The same Muhyiddin whom Pak Lah thought was a sahabat karib (loyal and trustworthy friend) but was in fact the "musuh dalam selimut" that ultimately caused Abang Lah to resign his post as prime minister.

I know what Muhyiddin did to Pak Lah cut Pak Lah deeply......but Pak Lah is a gracious and forgiving man and politics he can live with or without.

This Muhyiddin is now like a woman scorned. He knows there is no returning to the fold of Umno for he knows as we do, that no DPM in Umno's history has ever survived their fall from grace - not even Anwar Ibrahim.

For him, like it was for Anwar Ibrahim, if there is to be any political life left to salvage, it will have to be outside Umno.

So what will he do now?

Until he leaves Umno and join OUR side, he is still the enemy.

Until he tells all that he knows about the criminality of what Umno and Najib Razak has done, he is still our enemy.

And until he leaves Umno, join our side, tells all he knows about the criminality within Umno he will always be the enemy.

He has grown insanely rich on the spoils of his time with Umno. He has also grown lazy, fat and bloated because of Umno.

And he is not Anwar Ibrahim.

So do not look towards Muhyiddin to do an "Anwar Ibrahim"......to burn all his bridges with Umno and start from ground zero.

Can you see Muhyiddin leading another sort of "REFORMASI" against Umno?

Can you see Muhyiddin not crumbling in the face of possible incarceration as the present regime under Najib digs all the dirt, scams and abuse of public office from the time he was MB of Johor until now?

Muhyiddin is anything but a fighter of Anwar's calibre!

So perish that thought if you think that Muhyiddin will do this ...."demand the PM step down ....put aside racial, religious & ideological sentiments and work towards forming a government that is just, trustworthy, and with integrity."

Like Ku Li, Muhyiddin will not have the stomach for hand to hand combat against those who can punish him as they have punished Anwar Ibrahim....and we must not allow ourselves to be used as pawns for his vested self interest in his fight against Najib Razak.

Until he proves otherwise, he is of no use to us in our fight for a just, trustworthy government with ethics and integrity. - steadyaku47

Muhyiddin, where were you back in 1998 when you and other members of the Supreme Council - under Mahathir's instructions - did to Anwar what they are now doing to you under Najib's instructions?

You should have been mindful of what Anwar said then: "If he can do it to me, imagine what he can do to you". But back then you, like everyone else in Umno, were too incensed with power and greed to care about the presence of God around you.

From various departure halls, our soul will arrive at the same destination to answer questions from the immigration and customs officials whom you will not be able to "influence". - Karim SA

Din - Gani Patail tunjuk bukti pasai derma 2.6b & SRC...

Sebelum penggantungannya semalam, beberapa pemimpin Umno mendesaknya agar setia membantu kepimpinan presiden parti. - tmi

Ex-AG showed me proof on Najib and SRC, it was clearly a crime...

Suspended Umno deputy president Muhyiddin Yassin today said he was presented with evidence about the deposits from state-owned SRC International into Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's personal bank accounts.

Muhyiddin said from the evidence, it was apparent that a crime had been committed.

"About the money from SRC International that went into Najib's personal bank accounts, I was personally informed by the former attorney-general (Abdul Gani Patail) together with evidence which clearly showed it to be a criminal act," he said in a press statement this morning.

The MACC had investigated the deposits of RM42 million from SRC International and US$681 million from an offshore account into Najib's personal bank accounts.

The new attorney-general Mohamed Apandi Ali earlier this month said there was no case and refused to prosecute but the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is appealing the decision.

Both Muhyiddin and Gani were removed from office in July last year as Najib moved to purge his opponents after the massive deposits were made public by the Wall Street Journal.

Muhyiddin was yesterday suspended as Umno deputy president for his criticisms of Najib.

Najib's in trouble, 'not me'

Najib's former deputy also lamented that the Umno supreme council has chosen to ignore the facts and have instead gone after him instead of the prime minister.

"The one involved in the 1MDB and RM2.6 billion scandals is not me but Najib.

"The one who received RM42 million from SRC International is not me but Najib.

"The one investigated by the MACC and faces the risk of prosecution is not me but Najib.

"The one who is rejected by the majority of rakyat is not me but Najib.

"The one that is the cause of all of Umno's problems is not me but Najib.

"Strangely, the one that is suspended is me while Najib continues to enjoy the power of his position and money," he said.

'Courageous support'

However, Muhyiddin thanked the few Umno leaders who still stood by him.

"I appreciate all those who have expressed support and stood with me in this struggle.

"Shafie Apdal and Mukhriz Mahathir have expressed their support from early on. To the two of them, I say thank you for supporting me.

"To the Umno grassroots leaders, particularly the Gabungan Ketua Cawangan Malaysia, who have courageously stood by the truth, I say congratulations.

"I am also grateful for the stance of Pagoh Umno which has been unwavering in braving the wave. Let us continue our struggle," he urged. - mk

Gani refuses to comment on what Muhyiddin said

Will Muhyiddin cross the Rubicon and quit UMNO...

Muhyiddin Yassin must make some bold moves in the wake of his suspension as deputy president by Umno, analysts say, or risk being a casualty in the party chief’s bid for survival.

The most effective way for party dissidents Muhyiddin and vice-president Mohd Shafie Apdal to make a dent in Umno president Najib Abdul Razak’s seemingly formidable armour is to leave, banking on creating a strong ripple effect as the two jump ship.

“If they are willing to do so, Barisan Nasional will lose at least two parliamentarians. The number may not be significant but at least there is a new show.

"Once they quit the party, it depends whether they can become the core and prompt others to follow suit," political scientist Wong Chin Huat pitched to Malaysiakini, when contacted.

Ousted from the deputy prime minister’s post last year, Muhyiddin was suspended yesterday by the Umno supreme council for repeatedly speaking out publicly against the party leader.

The potential impact - should Muhyiddin make that leap of faith - should not be underestimated.

He once held the Johor menteri besar’s post, is the BN parliamentarian for Pagoh, and remains its division chief.

Shafie, too, can tip some things over if he shifts his weight. In addition to being the Semporna MP, he is one of the pioneers who paved the way for Umno's entry into Sabah in the early 90s.

Both could get some support from other disgruntled leaders. Prior to today's Umno supreme council meeting, former Kedah menteri besar Mukhriz Mahathir, who was also axed by Najib, has said that any action against Muhyiddin would be “the final nail in Umno's coffin”.

He has also warned that such a move would lead Umno members to leave the party.

Serious about Mahathir

Both Muhyiddin and Shafie joining forces with Mukhriz’s father and former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad in the fight against their common enemy will amplify the chance of Najib’s removal.

Muhyiddin has no other option but to work with Mahathir, argues Universiti Islam Antarabangsa (UIA) assistant prof Maszlee Malik.

"If he wants to walk his talk and save the nation and be viable in politics, he must be serious (in joining hands) with Mahathir.

"Otherwise, he will be kept in (Umno’s) cold storage," he said.

The Malay party, however, attempted to contain the impact of the Muhyiddin factor by suspending his key party position rather than revoking his membership to avoid an internal uprising.

The suspension seems to be a well-planned move to rein in Muhyiddin’s influence but not to the extent of ending his political career.

"If Muhyiddin is kicked out of Umno he will not be alone; 1998 Reformasi will be repeated," he said.

During Reformasi in 1998-1999, sacked deputy prime minister Anwar Ibrahim led a series of street demonstrations against Mahathir after he was sacked from party, sparking a revolt which echoes were felt a decade later when BN lost its two-thirds parliamentary majority in the 2008 national polls.

Currently, BN has 134 parliamentary seats while the opposition has 87, with Khalid Ibrahim representing Bandar Tun Razak as the sole independent after he was sacked by PKR.

If the Muhyiddin camp makes its move, the ground will at least rumble, even if it doesn’t shift. But can be play a key role in the offensive against Najib?

Ideas chief executive Wan Saiful Wan Jan offers a healthy dose of skepticism in the ex-DPM’s ability to launch a challenge.

"I can't see anything that can be done by Muhyiddin's camp when Muhyiddin himself is not standing up.

"And for now, I don't see any difference whether he or Shafie quits or stays. They haven't been doing much anyway," he said.

Muhyiddin has not clearly indicated that he wants to challenge Najib despite speaking up against his ex-boss, Wan Saiful argued.

"It will not be easy for him to recover (from the suspension) and mount a challenge," he added.

Nevertheless, he said people must wait for Muhyiddin's reaction before they typecast him.

Crossing the Rubicon

For Wong, who is also a fellow at the Penang Institute, Muhyiddin’s suspension is an indicator that infighting within Umno has intensified.

This could push the Muhyiddin camp to cross the Rubicon and quit Umno, said Wong.

However, he pointed out that if Umno grassroots are worried that toppling Najib would imperil the party, Muhyiddin will not get much support, even if they feel he has been unjustly treated.

"But if the backfire among the society is strong and becomes a wave, that's another story," he said.

As Najib collects the scalps of Umno dissidents, another battle is brewing outside the party.

Former law minister Zaid Ibrahim is organising a gathering slated for March 27 to call for Najib's resignation. Mahathir - Najib’s number one nemesis - has since confirmed his attendance.

Wong doesn't rule out a possibility of Najib recruiting PAS to his team if the gathering gains momentum and it looks like he is losing control.

"People like (PAS’ Pokok Sena MP) Mahfuz Omar wants to topple (Najib). (However) if Najib feels a sense of instability and uses hudud to canvass PAS, will PAS be able to resist?" he asked.

Najib's safe exit plan

With Muhyiddin's suspension, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is tasked with the duties of the deputy president.

According to Wong, Najib's promotion of Zahid is to safeguard himself should he be forced to step down.

"One of the possibilities is that he (Najib) thinks he may not last long and has to negotiate to step down.

"Other people may not be able to protect him; perhaps Zahid can. Helping Zahid to gain power is the only way.

"From this point of view, in the short run, Najib will first probably cut off all these (dissenting) people, then start negotiating for stepping down," he said.

Attorney-general Mohamed Apandi Ali has cleared Najib in both RM2.6 billion scandal and SRC case, but foreign probes are ongoing and have frozen a number of 1MDB-related bank accounts.

But if Najib can completely neutralise the forces arrayed against him within and outside the party, it is likely he may decide to stay on for many years to come.- mk

Si badut Rani Kulop kasi warning sama Dr.Mahathir...

Baca seterusnya...

MH2 to London turns back after mid-flight engine trouble...

A Malaysia Airlines flight en route to London had to turn back and make an emergency landing at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport where it took off earlier, after reportedly developing engine trouble mid-flight.

According to a report in UK’s Mirror, the A380 had been flying for one and a half hours and at approximately 21,000 feet when it encountered engine trouble, including a “strange smell” coming from the direction of its engine, forcing an immediate U-turn.

Landing safely back at KLIA, fire engines were on standby. No passengers or crew were reported to be injured.

According to the news portal, earlier reports said the plane was ‘dumping fuel’ off the coast of Malaysia and one passenger tweeted that everyone on board was “calm” and there was no sense of panic either.

Meanwhile Malaysia Airlines Berhad took pains to reply to Twitter users who enquired if there was any truth to the incident by replying: “Hi, kindly note the flight was diverted due to technical issues involving the engine.

“We apologise for the inconvenience caused!”

To a request for any updates by Twitter user Mamuputra, the airlines replied: “Hi, kindly note that the flight has been retimed to 2:30pm as MH2D. We apologize for the inconvenience caused!” - fmt

UMNO parti “Untuk Mohd Najib Only”...

Jika DAP dipanggil “Daddy-Anak Party”, UMNO kini dipanggil parti “Untuk Mohd Najib Only”.

Baca sterusnya...

Widow sues Malaysia Airlines over doomed MH370 flight...

The Australian widow of a passenger who died on board the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 is suing the airline for compensation.

Jennifer Chong, 48, from Kew, has launched legal action in the Victorian Supreme Court over the death of her husband of 23 years, Chong Ling Tan.

In her writ filed with the court, Mrs Chong said her husband had been seated in business class seat 1C on the doomed March 8, 2014, flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing when it disappeared.

Mrs Chong said that in late January 2015, the Malaysian Department of Civil Aviation declared the plane's disappearance had been an accident and there were no survivors.

She said Malaysia Airlines was liable for damages over the crash.
Mrs Chong claimed she and her two sons, aged 19 and 15, had suffered "nervous shock" over Mr Chong's death.

"Further the defendant (Malaysia Airlines) owed a duty of care to the deceased and other passengers and crew on the flight in relation to their safety and well-being," the widow said in her writ.

Mrs Chong said the airline was vicariously responsible for the actions of its crew "who failed to ensure the aircraft safely reached its destination and/or who deliberately altered the course of the aircraft resulting in its loss at sea".

She said the airline had breached its duty of care to her husband and could not prove his death was not due to their negligence or other wrongful act.

Mrs Chong said the airline was negligent in failing to ensure:

- the flight was safe for her husband and the other passengers.
- reasonable and adequate precautions were taken on the flight.
- the flight was supervised.
- the flight was carried out in a safe and proper manner.
- the flight was monitored and tracked at all times.
- the airline and its crew followed all proper procedures.

She claimed that if the airline had not been so negligent, the plane would not have disappeared.

Mrs Chong, whose home was robbed in February 2015 soon after learning her husband had been presumed dead, is suing the airline for damages which have yet to be quantified.

She said the amount being sought was still being worked out and the total claim for economic loss would be provided to the airline in due course.

Ms Chong has been one of the more outspoken next of kin, speaking candidly in the past of her acute heartbreak and her hope of seeing her husband again.

Her pain was exacerbated last year by the theft of the couple’s weddings rings, her husband’s luxury watch and jade collections and money set aside for their sons’ educations.

Hers is the first case filed in Australia in relation to the MH370 disaster. Other cases filed in Kuala Lumpur have settled out of court, or are still in negotiation. - the age/news.com.au

“Bangla Didahulukan, Rakyat Malaysia Diketepikan...”

‘United Bangla National Organisation’

“If you stick your neck out it will be chopped (jika anda menghulurkan leher nanti akan dipancung.

If that’s how my life ends, in jail, then so be it, maybe I’ll share a cell with Anwar Ibrahim (jika begitu cara saya menghabiskan hayat di penjara, mungkin saya boleh berkongsi sel dengan Anwar Ibrahim,” katanya pada sidang media selepas disiasat oleh lima anggota polis di Yayasan Kepimpinan Perdana, di sini hari ini.

“Saya tahu Zeti mahu menghabiskan tempoh berkhidmatnya tanpa sebarang masalah,” ujarnya.

- fmt/mk

Beranikah Peguam Negara heret Mahathir ke mahkamah?

Go ahead, I am prepared for jail, says Mahathir...

A defiant Dr Mahathir Mohamad said he will only answer when he is charged in court on his allegation that the public prosecutor was protecting Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.

The former prime minister said this after he was questioned by the police today over his blog posting on attorney-general Mohamed Apandi Ali.

“I did not answer the policemen's questions on the article as I wish to answer in court during the hearing or trial (after I am charged),” Mahathir said.

He said he would tell the truth in court and call for his own witnesses and those involved in the allegations to testify.

He said he was prepared to be jailed for his blog posting.

“If you stick out your neck, you will be chopped. If that is going to be the end of my life - in jail, okay, that's it,” he said.

When asked whether he foresaw ending up in Sungai Buloh prison together with PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim, Mahathir quipped: “Maybe we'll share the same cell.

'Intimidated'

Earlier, a four-man police team turned up at the Perdana Leadership Foundation where Mahathir maintains an office.

Bukit Aman is probing Mahathir over his blog posting entitled 'AG to AG' on Feb 2.

According to Mahathir, the police in their preliminary enquiry asked him 30 questions, a few of which he answered and the rest he remained mum on.

Acknowledging that he felt somehow 'intimidated' by the questioning, Mahathir said he stood by what he wrote on his blog and would continue to defend his freedom of speech whether 'in court or outside the court'.

Mahathir was represented by five lawyers including Matthias Chang and Haniff Katri.

Meanwhile,Dr. Mahathir Mohamad has called for the people to rise up to oust Prime Minister Najib Razak.

“I think the time has come when parties do not matter anymore. This is a problem affecting the nation.

“I want everybody to act as citizens who are concerned with what is happening in this country. As a citizen, it does not matter whether you are for the opposition or the government.

“Now it is time to act as citizens, irrespective of party affiliations or loyalties,” he said today.

Mahathir was asked to elaborate on his meeting with PAS lawmaker Mahfuz Omar last Friday. Mahfuz had claimed that Mahathir called for the unity of the opposition and NGOs to topple Najib.

Dr Mahathir Mohamad also said he will attend the March 27 closed-door gathering against Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak if he is invited.

“Well, if I am invited I will go, of course,” he said at a press conference in Putrajaya today.

Mahathir was asked if he would join the March 27 gathering and take the lead.

The gathering is called by former law minister Zaid Ibrahim in a bid to oust Najib.

Zaid said the gathering will be an "invite-only" affair involving about 1,000 people.

Zaid said he will invite representatives of political parties from across the divide, student leaders and civil society members, to push for an independent investigation on 1MDB.- mk
